Christian Ministry Statement of Belief
This ministry stands on the truth of God’s Word and the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We believe the following foundational truths, rooted in Scripture and revealed through the Holy Spirit:
1. The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, life, and doctrine.
- 2 Timothy 3:16–17 – “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…”
- Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
2. The Nature of God
We believe in one eternal God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who is Creator, Sustainer, Redeemer, and worthy of all worship.
- Deuteronomy 6:4 – “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”
- Matthew 28:19 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
3. Humanity and the Fall
We believe all people are created in God’s image but have fallen through sin. This separation from God requires redemption.
- Genesis 1:27 – “So God created mankind in His own image…”
- Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
4. Jesus Christ and Salvation
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. His death and resurrection provide salvation by grace through faith.
- John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
- Ephesians 2:8–9 – “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and not of yourself; it is the gift of God, …”
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, empowering them for holy living and service. He comforts, convicts, and guides.
- John 14:26 – “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit… will teach you all things…”
- Galatians 5:22–23 – “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”
6. The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, and mission. Every believer is part of this spiritual family.
- 1 Corinthians 12:27 – “Now you are the body of Christ…”
- Hebrews 10:25 – “Do not give up meeting together…”
7. Mission and Evangelism
We believe in sharing the Gospel and serving others in love. Our calling is to make disciples and reflect Christ in the world.
- Matthew 28:19–20 – “Go and make disciples of all nations…”
- Matthew 10:8b – “Freely you have received; freely give.”
8. Eternal Life and Christ’s Return
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus and eternal life for believers. There will be a new heaven and new earth.
- John 14:3b – “I will come back and take you to be with Me…”
- Revelation 21:1–4 – “I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away....God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
